North Sydney, June 21, 2007 - According to IDC's survey report, Asia/Pacific (Including Japan) Software Developers: Development "On-the-Go" (Doc #AP322104P), software developers are mostly involved in producing mobile games and utilities software. Of those respondents who were involved with games development, the majority was from large value-added reseller (VAR) or software distributor organizations, whereas utilities software was mostly developed by IT hardware manufacturers.

Motorola has showcased the phones it plans to tempt us with for the second half of this year. It plans to stick with the enormously successful RAZR brand introducing the slightly slimmer RAZR2 with more power and a larger external display. The ROKR media phone also gets a makeover while the QWERTY MOTO Q goes global with support for 3G.

Some time last year (sorry I can't find the story on mobilised), Intel made a commitment to help build the market for non-brand notebook computers, assisting manufacturers to deliver solutions that would assist system builders to offer whitebooks to cost conscious buyers.
