Entering a new era Three, in the UK will launch the first single by cell phone next month. "Stop Me" by Planet Funk is due to be released on May 8 and can only be bought by mobile phone.
The 3G network operator has reportedly sold some 16 million video and audio tracks in the last two years, but it looking to grow that market. Customers can not only listen to the song on their mobile phone, the tracks can be transferred to their computer and on to portable MP3 players. |

Samsung’s tilt at the iPod is the YP-Z5 a colour screen Flash memory player that boasts a 35 hour battery life. Available in 1, 2 and 4GB storage capacity, the player is only available in black or silver now, but by mid-year you can expect to see Pink and White hitting the stores.
