Vodafone Puts Rugby On Your Mobile |

Mobilised Rugby fans are in luck ahead of this year's World Cup. As the test season hots up Vodafone is launching what it says is a world first -- the world's first 24-hours-a-day Rugby TV mobile channel. Fans can now watch exclusive live Rugby matches on their mobiles beginning with the Bledisloe Cup and Tri Nations series.
Cameron Levick, General Manager of Vodafone Queensland and the Northern
Territory said: "Vodafone is a passionate supporter of Australian Rugby, from the Super 14s to the
Wallabies. Rugby TV builds on this passion and is a fantastic addition to Australia's biggest
mobile TV line-up, available on Vodafone live! with 3G."
"With Rugby TV, Vodafone customers will never have to miss out on the action again. If you're
out and about and can't make it to the game or if you're at the game, waiting in the queue for a
beer - Vodafone has you covered, you won't miss out."
The telco is preparing for this years major event, the Rugby World Cup 2007, and will be making preview
clips and video coverage available during the World Cup later this year.
"Australian rugby fans are incredibly passionate about being constantly informed during the
international rugby season, particularly during the Rugby World Cup," Cameron said.
"With the tournament being played in France and Spain, the time difference means that games
will be played in the middle of the night, however, Vodafone customers can sleep sound in the
knowledge that video match reports will be available on their mobile when they wake up."
Available on the Rugby TV channel on Vodafone live! with 3G:
· Live matches, full replays, highlights and archive footage of:
o Tri Nations Series, All-Blacks and Springbok trial matches
o International test matches played by New Zealand, South Africa and Australia
o Currie Cup and Vodacom Cup matches
o New Zealand National provincial matches and Ranfurty Shield matches
o Super 14 matches

Rugby TV will be available in the Rugby Pack for $8 per month from June 30th.
