The latest addition to Fujitsu Australia's convertible tablet PC range
is the LifeBook T2010. Designed for the executive on the road, this
Lifebook sets new benchmarks with its creator claiming the T2010 is the
world's lightest A4 convertible tablet.
The 1.53 kg laptop offers a 12.1-inch widescreen touch display and offers an impressive battery life of up to 11 hours with an optional 9-cell battery. Which will of course make it weigh more than the 1.53kg we quote in our headline, but Fujitsu says you will get 9 hours with the standard battery, which is a pretty good days work anyway.
The 12.1-inch Wide XGA display has an 80/80/80/80 wide viewing angle and 300nits brightness,
making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor viewing. The convertible design features a bi-directional hinge so the device transforms easily from tablet to notebook.
Don't get he idea though, that this convertible is slim because it weighs only 1.53kg. A quick look at the specifications below will reveal the thickness of this device is still 3.4cm.
The hard drive is proetected by a 3-axis Shock Sensor to
reduce the risk of data loss from bumps and bruises. Other built-in safety measures like the BIOS Lock, Hard Disk
Lock, LifeBook Lock, Smartcard Support and Anti-Theft Lock slot ward
off intrusion of any kind.
The Fingerprint Recognition Technology makes
access to data so effortless that you simply have to swipe your
pre-registered fingerprint for access to your encrypted information
instantaneously. These features are extremely beneficial to mobile and
healthcare executives who depend heavily on the use of confidential
data for their work.
"In Australia, Fujitsu PC has
gained industry and consumer confidence, and will always be committed
in being the performance leader within the convertible ultra-portable
tablet PC innovation. Ultimately, anyone can go the distance and enjoy
the freedom of movement with the new LifeBook T2010" says Mr David Niu,
Product Manager, Fujitsu PC Australia.
