Next G Virtual Concert Schedule (mostly) Announced |

Telstra's
BigPond and Next G customers can begin to plan their Monday nights with
the release of a 13 gig series of virtual concerts dubbed "Monday Night
Live".
Kicking off on 24 September, Monday Night Live
offers live and recorded-live performances direct from Sydney music
venue, The Basement. Although the talent for four of the 13 events
which run until mid December are still listed as soon to be announced,
the list already features some big name acts as well as past and future
Australian Idol talent.
Users On Telstra Next G mobiles will have to pay though with the
live streaming access priced at $2.95. Those willing to wait can get an
on-demand feed for $0.50. The events are sponsored by NAB.
The BigPond events will be available at no additional charge to anyone with a broadband connection, although
BigPond customers will not have the download data counted towards their
usage allowance.
Monday Night Live will be online at www.bigpond.com and via
Telstra's Next G and 3G handsets at 9.00pm every Monday night from
September 24, and afterwards On Demand via the BigPond Music button on
mobiles and at BigPond Music TV online.
Series host Ella Hooper said: "Normally only a few hundred people
get into gigs at The Basement, so it's fantastic that BigPond and the
Telstra Next G mobile network make it available to fans across the
country".
