Fujitsu's First LifeBook With Blu-ray |

Australia has announced the LifeBook N6460 -- a 17 inch home theatre notebook
with Blu-ray HD optical drive and a split personality thanks to the Visual
Optimizer which allows the user to toggle between modes of work and play with
a single touch.
The display on the
N6460 is a
brilliant WXGA+ TFT display screen that presents 370nits brightness and a
contrast ratio
600:1, so a
switch from
work mode to entertainment mode allows you to turn up and down the quality and
brightness depending on what you are doing.
This widescreen is
display driven by an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 graphic chip with 512MB Hyper
Memory provides visually spectacular images on the N6460, while the Blu-ray
disc offers at least five times more storage than DVD, allowing you to save
even more data or HD movie content.
The Intel Centrino
Core2 Duo Processor and Mobile 965PM and ICH8M chipsets are backed up by Draft 2
802.11n support and a whopping 500GB storage capacity on the A$5,299 device.
Additional
expansion and connectivity is made possible with the PCMCIA Card Slot, 5x USB
2.0 ports, mini D-SUB 15-pin VGA-out, S-Video Out, HDMI-Video Out, IEEE 1394
and an SD/MS/MS PRO memory card slot, confirming the LifeBook N6460 as a
top-of-the-line powerhouse.
