Optus and Motorola have joined forces to launch the new MOTORAZR V8
Luxury Edition. The new phone has been "re-imagined and reconfigured"
in Gold and "clothed in snake-like skin", says the announcement.
Motorola says the $899 (RRP) phone is not only about good looks though.
The V8 offers a 2.0 megapixel camera, Windows Media Player, and Opera
Mobile Browser 8.5. Not enough to make heads turn like the Gold accents
and soft-touch snake-skin style back, but the 12mm thin phone features
2GB on-board storage and Motorola's CrystalTalk technology which
improves audio quality.
For your money you also get hooked up via a matching Motorola H680
Luxury Edition Bluetooth headset with 8 hours talk time and up to 8
days on standby, for stereo though, the package includes a wired
headset. The phone comes with a patent leather carrying case and a
polishing cloth!
Andrew Volard, Managing Director, Motorola South Pacific said: "This
exciting new phone offers a complete luxury experience for fashion
conscious consumers. Australians can now enjoy the full suite of
capabilities when it comes to messaging, music and web browsing,
wrapped up in a glamorous design that will make others green with envy."
