Sony Ericsson has introduced two new Cyber-shot phones, the C702 and C902 which the company says are packed with the latest camera technology to take perfect pictures. The company says the two phones both focus on the photography features their Cyber-shot branding would suggest but one has a more emphasis on style, the ohter has GPS functionality.

The Sony Ericsson C702 Cyber-shot is the more sporty camera focused device that is the more sporty of the two allowing you to "Take pictures everywhere". GPS denabled and slash and dust resistant the C702 has single-handed camera use - for spur-of-the-moment photos.

The camera key and the active lens cover on the C702 are designed and placed so you can stabilise the 3.2 megapixel camera and capture the moment with one hand. Combined with materials that provide more grip than fashion and the wrist-strap bundled with the device equips the C702 Cyber-shot for people on the move to more places.

Likewise, the integrated GPS and a range of location-based imaging services deliver better image management so that when you take a photo it can be automatically tagged with the place you took it. So you can always share your best moments with your friends and family according to where the shots were taken.  Or you can simply sort the picture through your photo gallery on the PC or on the web.

If you are lost on your travels, Google Maps for Mobile locates and guides you to where you want to go, enabling you to roam free with confidence. Use GPS to pinpoint your location and then get turn-by-turn voice guidance to your destination. Find your way home or to one of up to 20 million points of interest.

Meanwhile, the Sony Ericsson C902 Cyber-shot is a more refined stylish device, even though it features a 5.0 megapixel camera its more stylish than the sporty C702. The slim line form factor is ultra-compact  and has a 'unique' lens cover that slides away to expose the camera lens. The phone has special lighting that signals when you are in camera mode by switching from white to blue and the the eight dedicated camera touch keys come also light up in camera mode.

With the C902 Cyber-shot you need to manually slide open the lens cover to take a photo, but the phone has a ful range of camera features such as Face Detection which enables it to detect and focus on the face of your subject rather than the background. It also has a flash which automatically fires in low light conditions.

Also, a light solution has been added to the established BestPic feature, which lets you take nine photos in quick succession, choose the best and delete the rest.
