Mobile computing company, Toshiba, has made a (rather late) entry into the external storage and data back-up market with the release of three portable external hard drives.
The Toshiba USB 2.0 Portable
External Hard Drives come in three sizes, 160GB / 250GB / 320GB, but like the Tardis they are big on the inside while maintaining diminutive dimensions on the exterior.
The drives are a tiny 2.5inch long. The casings are in a sleek, glossy finish with a contemporary design.
New owners will get a copy of NTI Shadow automated backup software which Toshiba says will make sure even "digital novices" can properly backup their beloved data.
Better
yet, they are fully mobile - powered through the USB port rather than a
power cable - and include an internal shock sensor and ramp loading technology
to keep drives and data safe while on the move.
