Pioneer Computers has introduced the DreamVision Portable Projector S682 saying the device is ideal for use with notebooks, or even cameras, camcorders or media players.

The battery powered device may not be a top of the range home cinema projector with specifications like 300:1 contrast ratio and an 800x600 resolution, but at this size who cares.

This device is perfect for people on the go, sales professionals or LAN party enthusiasts who have something to show.

The DLP projector is able to project an image up to 60 inches at has 24-bit colour (16.7 million). It even has Vertical up to +/- 15 degrees keystone correction.

The choice of video inputs include PAL, NTSC, SECAM, HDTV, VGA(resized), SVGA(resized), XGA, SXGA(resized) via D-Sub, S-Video or Composite.

The projector even has an SD card slot.

Power consumption is 19W which will chew up your battery in about 2.5 hours (enough to watch a movie if you must) and with dimensions like this 121mm x 99mm x 47mm (WxDxH) it really will fit in your pocket.
