Samsung is going all out in the mobile smartphone market this week releasing a raft of world first phones including the first every 10 megapixel phone with autofocus.
Using the CeBit IT exhibition in Hanover, Germany as a launching pad for a phone which so far is only scheduled for release onto the Korean market, Samsung has wowed the industry again following up its announcement of an 8MB HDD phone lat month.
The company has led the way in the introduction of hard disk technology into mobile smartphones and this latest release adds to three phones the company already has on offer around the world.
It’s also been leading the way in camera technology introducing the first 5mp camera phone in October 2004 and then following it up with 7mp in July last year and then 8mp in November. IN the fourth world first in a row, Samsung says its 10mp phone will be released onto the Korean market this quarter.
The B600’s camera has a 3x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom and for the first time in a mobile phone an autofocus feature. Located next to the lens, the LED autofocus system automatically determines the distance and sets an appropriate focus setting.
