i-mate To Add Flip Phone |

Smartphone maker i-mate has announced a new
quad-band flip phone running Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0. The new device,
called the Smartflip, weighs in at just 99grams.
With an etched metallic look dual colour
LCDs and RAZR-style flat, backlit keypad, the Smartflip, clamshell is GPRS/EDGE
enabled, quad-band 850/900/1800/1900.
Microsoft Direct Push technology will
provide synching with your Outlook email, calendar, contacts, tasks and so on,
while the ClearVue document viewers for Word, Excel, PDF & Powerpoint makes
the phone a justifiable choice to the boss.
Bluetooth compatible, the i-mate Smartflip also
gives you access to Hotmail, MSN Messenger, Internet Explorer Mobile and
Windows Media Player Mobile.
A 1.3 Megapixel camera, camcorder, MP3
player and interactive gaming makes the phone a justifiable choice to your
kids.

urban professional on the go," said the newly appointed i-mate global director
of sales, Jack Craine.
On board storage is 64MB ROM and 64MB RAM
with additional space provided via microSD Memory Expansion.
