The Nokia 1110i is aimed at first time users emphasises
ease-of-use, reliability and affordability.
Nokia has trimmed the cost by using a black and white
display on this phone, but the use of graphical icons and large font sizes make
it a good choice for older users and people looking for a phone that can make
phone calls.
The phone has a few useful features for messaging and time
management though.
The Nokia 1110i also has a number of cost management
features, including support for the Nokia Prepaid Tracker to help people
monitor their phone usage, as well as other technological features which reduce
the total cost of mobile ownership for consumers.
It weighs just 80 grams and has a rated talk time of 5 hours
and a standby time of up to 15 days.
Aimed at developing markets, the Nokia 1110i is expected to
retail for around AUD$75 (before subsidies or taxes).
