At 9.9 milimetres, the D830 may not be the thinnest mobile phone
Samsiung has to offer, but for a clam shell this phone will fit snugly into
your lifestyle.
 Outfitted with a 2 mega pixel camera (with high quality QCIF
video recording), and what Samsung describes as a "spacious keypad"
this phone still manages to squeeze in a 2.3-inch QVGA display.
The Samsung D830 is less than a centremetre thick at 9.9mm, but Samsung hasn't stinted on the features.
Targetted at busines cell phone users, the D830 has Samsung's advanced file viewer that lets you access Microsoft
Office, TXT, PDF, HTML and JPEG files on your mobile, or use the TV-Output facility to view
your phone's contents on a TV screen.
When it's time to kick back and relax, the phone has a multi-format digital music player with digital power amp that supports WMA, M3 and AAC. Support
for Bluetooth stereo headsets.
This phone has a pretty hefty 80 MB of internal memory and also
supports microSD memory so you can store plenty of tunes, pics, video or work
documents.
For world travelers, Samsung has added Auto Time Update, which automatically
keeps you in the right time zone no matter where in the world you are. Other premium
features include Black and White UI, video Caller ID, uMenu and Offline Mode to round
out the offering.
There's a small OLED screen on the front allowing you to check
the time or get a quick view of who is calling you through text Caller ID.
The Ultra Edition 9.9's variety of colours and patterned
design allow for a little individuality.
