Unwired Trims Wireless Broadband Plans |

Wireless Broadband carrier Unwired has moved to push deeper
into the market with the announcement of a range of new pricing plans, a
reduction in the hardware costs for notebook users and a new payment option
that makes direct debit payments as easy as 1,2,3.
The new plans reduce existing offerings by $10, with the top
o' the range 12GB download plan now priced at an affordable. The 12GB Wireless
Card plan is now just $99.95, down from $109.95, and costing well under $10 per
Gigabyte and running at 750Kbps.
Unwired also moved to reduce the 12GB Desktop plan from $119.95
to a new price of $109.95, also well under $10 per GB this plan runs at 1024Kbps.
Users looking to mobilise their laptops with high-speed
broadband can do it a little cheaper following a $50 reductions to $249 on Unwired's
wireless card.
At the entry level, the company also introduces a 600MB
Wireless Card plan running at 256Kbps for $39.95 and a faster 600MB Desktop
plan for $49.95 running at a healthy 512Kbps.
The company also introduced a direct debit payment system
which allows people without a credit card to still sign up for the service
online.
The new payment system which becomes available on 14th August
will follow the same 1,2,3 sign-up process as credit cards do now with Unwired
giving new subscribers a "grace" period, so customers can instantly access the Internet
while their bank details are being verified.
