3 Hits A 6 With Mobile Ashes Coverage

Cricket fans now have a mobile place to watch all the Ashes action, with 3 mobile's 24 hour Cricket TV Channel. The company has got together with Channel Nine to bring a great package of live coverage, alerts, fixrtures and scores. While cricket conjures up images of lazy days spent in front of the TV, for 42 per cent of the Australian population, the reality tends to be a little different. There's only so many sickies you can pull to watch a five day test and with almost three-quarters of respondents to a 3 mobile crickets survey admitting they will be tied to their office desks during the Ashes tour, they are going to have to find another way to keep score. The survey done by 3 indicated that only 5% are planning to take a sickie in order to be glued to the TV and only 6% will be heading to the pub with mates. Hardly anybody has tickets as you already know if you've been trying to buy them on eBay. What's your alternative? Well if you are at all mobile when you are at work, and hell even if you aren't, make sure you have 3G. 3 mobile is giving the cricket-crazed a chance to catch the action on its 24 hour a day Cricket TV channel. The survey, presumably carried out on 3 customers and representing only those who responded, indicated that 50 per cent planned to keep an eye on the scores at work with another 36% only admitting that they will tune in while commuting.
