Vodafone Begins Bundling 3G TV |

Vodafone has introduced what it says is Australia's
biggest mobile TV and music offering on Vodafone live! with 3G. In all there
are 21 live and made for mobile TV channels to watch.
Vodafone live! with 3G customers can now get access to 6
live channels (Sky News Business, Sky News UK, BBC World, Fashion TV, ABC and
SBS) another 15 made for mobile channels (including MTV, E!, Rage, VidZone TV,
ABC Kids and Chilli TV) as well as a bunch of exclusive Vodafone content.
Available only on Vodafone live! You can watch Team TV which
takes you behind the scenes with Australia's top sporting talent and
Vodafone Live at The Chapel for live music acts.
To keep a track of all this news and entertainment Vodafone
will also launch an exclusive mobile TV Guide.
The first of its kind in Australia, the TV Guide will let
customers view all categories of Vodafone Mobile TV entertainment at the touch
of a button.
As an introductory offer Vodafone is giving one month free
and unlimited usage to anyone who subscribes to one of its bundles.
There are two different bundles. The News and Sport Pack gives you unlimited access to all news and
sports channels for a$8 per month while the Music and Entertainment Pack piles
on unlimited music and entertainment channels also for A$8 per month.
Alternatively Vodafone 3G users can access the content a la
carte and get a single channels like Fashion TV, Mythbusters and ABC Kids from
A$1 per day to A$4 or A$5 a month.
Voda also announced it is going to try out the UK teen TV hit Hollyoaks.
To see if Aussie audiences respond to the cult teen drama sensation it will run
a pilot in the New Year.
