3 Discounts International Calls |

3 mobile has announced a new set of call bundles with a
focus on international calls.
Called Talk International, the system requires pre-payment of
A$7.50 per month. In retur subscribers get up to 100 minutes call time to one
of eight countries.
This effectively brings the call per minute rate down to 7.5
cents per minute.
Subscribers can choose between the following countries: landlines
in the UK and Ireland, New
Zealand and Greece
and landlines and mobiles in the US
and Canada and Hong Kong and
China.
When calling countries other than their elected destination,
Talk International customers will get a 25% discount off the normal 3 prices
for that destination.
"3 is showing consumers that calling internationally from a
mobile shouldn't be price prohibitive. With Talk International, customers who
want to talk with family, friends or business associates overseas can do so
with a simple, flat rate service that offers great value," said Scott Taylor,
General Manager Content and Services, 3 mobile.
"3 is changing the way people use their mobiles - that's not
only about using their mobile for new services like watching TV, but using
their mobile to connect more to the people who are important to them. With Talk
International we're facilitating that and enabling more customers to call
internationally in a more affordable and predictable way," added Taylor.
