Dopod
has committed to releasing its first Windows for Mobile 6.0 device as
early as April this year in a move that could give the company a head
start over larger rivals.
"We're excited to work with Microsoft to
offer Windows Mobile 6 on our upcoming products," said Jack Tong, CEO of Dopod International Corp.
"This
will further enrich the mobile experience of consumers with our
easy-to-use, innovative and powerful devices, which will allow more
consumers to enjoy mobility while having the power of Windows Mobile to
help them stay connected to people and information wherever they go."
Over the course of this year the company plans to
launch more products.
"With our range of Windows Mobile PDA phones and smartphones, consumers
will be spoilt for choice in deciding which one of our devices best
suit their needs and lifestyle," said Tong.
