Browser maker, Opera Software has said T-Mobile is bringing a customised version of its My Opera Community to its web'n'walk users, offering photoblogging, photo albums and more to its customers.
T-Mobile's web'n'walk offering uses a customised version of Opera
Software's Opera Mini browser that allows users to surf the Web from
their mobile phones.T-Mobile was the first operator to pre-install a customised Opera Mini browser on selected handsets.
By integrating the community into their product offering, T-Mobile
customers can access all of My Opera's features, as well as the exclusive T-Mobile
group page and dedicated forums for web'n'walk users. My Opera gives
T-Mobile users 300 MB of storage space on their personal pages, and
once registered, users will automatically be added to the T-Mobile
group.
"T-Mobile is Opera's pioneering customer in terms of integrating My
Opera with their product," says Jon von Tetzchner, CEO for Opera
Software.
"My Opera presents a unique solution to operators such as T-Mobile, as
it allows them to offer their customers attractive features such as
photoblogging. This not only adds functionality to the web'n'walk
offering, but also drives data traffic for T-Mobile."
