The perfect accessories to match the rash of Gold Plated mobile phones
hitting the market, Jabra has launched a 24 carat gold and a stainless
steel Bluetooth headset for mobile phones.
Called the Jabra JX10 Cara, the ear piece is designed for those who
appreciate the "finer things in life" and can afford them. The JX10
Cara carries a not inconsiderable price tag of A$429 for the Gold
headset and an only moderately cheaper $299 for the same device encased
in Stainless Steel.
The device is designed by Danish designer, Jacob Jenson and is said to
be one of the most user-friendly, smallest and lightest headsets in its
class. It weighs less than 10 grams and is 4cm in length, can be worn
with or without an ear hook and features fingertip control to
answer/end calls and adjust volume, one-touch pairing and
multi-coloured light display.
The automatic volume control via DSP technology means that the JX10
Cara's sound level and quality adjusts to match the environment you're
calling from. And noise cancellation technology means background noise
is reduced by up to 90%.
"The JX10 Cara is one of the most luxurious headsets ever made," Angela
Wilde, GN's regional managing director for Greater Pacific said. "The
JX10 Cara is an expression of personal values, style, exclusivity and
uniqueness. It's special because everything about it has the premium
experience of the consumer in mind. It offers quality, a sensorial user
experience, a high audio experience and premium materials for consumers
who appreciate fine craftsmanship, great audio, intuitive user
experience and overall excellence in design," Wilde said in a press
statement.
Expected in early June the tiny device manages up
to 6 continuous hours talk time and up to 200 hours of battery power.
