The sleeker, smarter, stronger RAZR2 V9 is an exciting evolution of the RAZR brand. With mesmerizing appearance and a new, richer multimedia experience, RAZR2 V9 is the ultimate stylish feature phone.

The RAZR2 V9 looks like it might be great news for 3G network operators as much as for consumers. Carriers will love that they can offer the same handset on the third generation network as you get on CDMA or GSM.

The lust invoking stainless ultra-thin shape belies a stainless steel frame that ensures a strong structure. Motorola says the materials include "vacuum metal finishes and two-tone soft touch housing that will inspire unending envy".

It's a turnaround for Motorola whose 3G offerings to date have been great feature wise but missing the mark when it came to physical dimensions and acceptable finish.

The V9 changes this somewhat. At 13.3mm and 125 grams this isn't the smallest and lightest handset on the market, but the super-sized 2.0” extrnal screen will likely make you forget that minor annoyance.

having such a large screen and the touch-sensitive music keys means users can access the music functions comfortably and without opening the phone.

It's not all about the look of course and the V9 along with others in the range get the new Motorola CrystalTalk technology which automatically accounts for background noise and adjusts the audio to match the ambient volume so the people you are calling can hear you even if you are in a crowd.

Consumers can share their video instantaneously with the revolutionary “See What I See” capability, where users can stream live video footage to another wireless customer while a call is in progress. And owners can watch the video on the RAZR2 V9’s large internal screen with twice the resolution of the original RAZR. Consumers can also get the best shot with a 2.0 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom.

HSDPA 3.6 Mbps technology helps connect users to the Internet at broadband-like speeds, likeDSL in your pocket. RAZR 2 V9’s integrated digital music player supports a wide variety of audio formats, so consumers can bring the party wherever they go.
The ultimate stylish feature phone, RAZR2 V9 delivers an incredibly rich multimedia experience in an even stronger and sleeker package than the iconic original RAZR. Ultra-sleek contours add to its distinct appeal, while high-end materials and premium finishes complete the eye-popping package. Innovative capabilities such asCrystalTalk ™ and “See What I See,” where users can stream live video to another wireless customer while the call is in progress¹, helps ensure that RAZR2 V9 will be at the top of consumers’ “gotta have” lists.

With an integrated music player, stereo Bluetooth wireless technology² and up to 45MB of end user memory and up to 2GB of additional memory with an optional microSD card, the RAZR2 V9 can store approximately 1,000 songs³ and download them in seconds. Full HTML web browsing and High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) capabilities at up to 3.6 Mbps helps provide streaming media while on the go¹, at broadband-like speeds. Advanced imaging capabilities with a 2.0 megapixel camera including 8x digital zoom, external touch sensitive music keys and intuitive, user-friendly controls, all help provide high-tech function.
